    Bowling pains.

Introducing my wife.My first bowling ball drilled to fit me.She weighs 13lbs.

Bowling is perpahs the cause for the chaos in my muscles. I have been feeling slight pain in the chest muscles since fri. That worsen yesterday morning. But but pain wasn't that bad,so i went bowling. In the night, the pain was totally unbearable.I couldn't sleep, every breath hurts, every movement caused a sharp pain. I went to the doctor's.The doctor said something about the muscle. It wasn't just muscle ach.It was give 4 types of medicine(Some of it for stomach?!).Forced to exchange them for $74. I spent a total of $500 in a day(400 for bowling equipments,74 doc and 25 for a new hair cut). A little of heartpain but wasn't as bad as the chest.I hope to recover real soon,so i could bring my wife out to where she belongs(Bowling alley).
I had this dream the last 2 nite.I shall not go into details. It was about my mother.Something happened to her.I woke up the next morning and still remember this dream.I sat down and thought about it and realised how much i didn't cherish her.I took her for granted. But its better to realise it now than never.I learnt the lesson which may change my life.
I thought about the issue of trust. How readily should we trust the people we know? I have known people who just breach the trust people gave to them, without knowing the consequences.Trust enables people to get things done with greater ease,no doubt about it.Breaching of the trust will not only hurt the friendship/partnership,it shows alot about the person's character.I have been too trusting, easily believing in what others said.I have learnt not to.A little consideration first will do some help. The relationship:the more knowledge we possess, the less we trust.A positive example, The driller for my ball i went to yesterday, told me to trust him.I did as i knew nothing about drilling of the ball.He did a good job.
My dad learnt many painful lessons by trusting others easily,i will not follow his footsteps.Trusting at the right time is good.Trusting at the wrong time brings disaster.

*Bowling is for life, life is about bowling,my life is bowling.*

    Watch what you eat.

Yesterday I went with a friend to his country club for pool, bowling, swim and mainly to sun tan.It was a hot day, yet i don't feel tanned enough after the swim. We took a quick shower but still we missed the shuttle bus and had to wait for 2 hrs.We went to a nearby seafood restaurant.I had fish and chips and went back.Upon reaching home,i felt sick and i thought it was fever,so i took a couple of panadol and slept. I woke up feeling worse that before. It felt like the entire body aching and totally drained off the energy.I felt weak and it was unbearable.I went to a clinic and was told i had food poisoning.Night charges at a 24hr clinic aren't low.$42 worth of notes grew wings.I went home and started vomiting.I vomitted 4 times continually. It was really painful then. Threw in some medicine and i went to bed.
I woke up today and thought i would be fine and went for the so called "ice-skating" with 115!..but ended up the ice skating arena was closed. We went kbox instead. With only the usual few singing. The rest of the people, like me,can't sing. And too shy to sing maybe.Had to leave at 2 for bowling training. At least we got to learn something new today.

    An usual "date"

I had a great time at Siti's house yesterday. Thanks for hosting. I'm sure everybody who went had lots of fun.The gathering was to bid Ms seah farewell and celebrate wanjing's bdae. We have Ms seah joining us for games of Dai Dee instead of scolding usfor playing cards in school. She sat and had a nice chat with us instead of nagging at us. She cried before she left.It was a touching moment. We followed her till under the block. She crossed the road and together we sang the college song for her. That might be the last time she would hear us sing. We played poison ball in the playground which has a sign board saying:"strictly for children age 8-12". We were screaming and running about that even the bystanders didn't believe we are from JC.We even have 3 kids who joined us in the games. It was a sweaty, yet a fun night for all. This shows that 115 can work hard and PLAY hard!
Me and ZR went bukit chandu for the learning journey. After that we were "invited" by Mr Sim p.n for a treat of vegetarian lunch at Ang Mio Kio food centre. It was my first time having vegetarian food.I didn't except vegetarian food to be so nice. And i used to think that it will not be filling.I was proven very wrong. We were all very full after that.Luckily Mr Sim was still able to steer the steering wheel. He drove us to upper Pierce Reservoir. The route up consists of a racing track. We hoped that Mr Sim would drift but his answer was that the tires would wear off easily. But we all knew the real reason was that he didn't know how to drift. =D .We met a group of monkeys in the middle of the road and stopped to take pictures. They seemed like a big family. We took a walk when we reached the "peak". It has beautiful sceneries. It certainly did not looked like a part of Singapore.Surrounded by trees and reservoir, it's a perfect place for dating couples.
I went home and took a nap before meeting bro mad for some shopping.Bought a tshirt,DC bag,Jay's new album and JJ's album.Later to realise that another place's selling $7 lesser for the 2 Cds.
    A day well-spent i would say.

    My Roller Coaster Ride

Results were released on tue.Only then i realised how smart my classmates actually are. This gave us an overall top 3 position in the whole level. Another thing worth celebrating is: our whole class were promoted. We are offically known as 215. WEeee!...However,some teachers won't be following us. Firstly, Ms seah. Our beloved CT.Who gave us never ending care and corcern.(helped us when some of us were caught playing poker by Mr chua in the study centre).Maybe that's why we have 115 Gambling Den in the grand stand every break/after sch everyday.Playing cards aren't as bad as people think it is,as long as we do not gamble money.Playing cards forces us to THINK and in this case helps in class bonding. We are going to miss Ms seah.Without her,we won't have the 115 we have today. What she has done for us,is just too much and what we can only do is to express our gratitude with a sincere THANK YOU.And wishing her all the best in everything she does. Ms seah has made a difference to our lives. And we will always remember her. Without her nagging and encourging words, i wouldn't have done as well for my Chemistry.
Ms joanne lee.She made a difference in our lives too.She brought up our GP grades ever since she took us.She encourges us with many encouring words or praises.Every assignments that we handed in,always come back with smile-ly face and many nice comments. That really motivated us to work even harder. Lessons were never boring with such a cheerful teacher. She brought us through discussions of current affairs in lessons, making lessons interesting and useful. She guided us throught the tough times of PW. I'm sure we can see the effort she put in.Towards the end of PW,she looked really tired and stressed.Hope she's feeling better now.
I was shocked when i received my result slip.An E caught my eyes.Well,i actually expected all the grades to be C or above. It's maths. What was even shocking is that i failed the PE paper.I could do the PE paper.Yet i have no idea what happened.I excepted much much better grades than that, considering the amout of effort i put in.It was really disappointing.Maths has always been my weakest subject.I gave my best and the results showed otherwise. I felt like i have let Mr sim and myself down. Perhaps the best is yet to be.
    *BOWLING BOWLING BOWLING*
Bowling training yesterday,it was fun. I actually felt closer to the club. Trainings have always been fruitful, this time wasn't exceptional. Some of us saw Ms lim pose (act cute) in front of the camera. It was a rare sight and funny though.

*Life is like a roller coaster ride. There's always ups and downs.Yet we won't stay down or up all the time*

    Criminal Service for Customers.

Nothing seems to be going right for me these days. Bowling on fri caused me to strain my right hand. Was totally exhausted after that.I slept 13 hrs yesterday.13 hrs of rest did not allow me to be fully awake through the day. Shopped at orchard despite feeling sleepy. Bought a few honey sticks and upon biting them, the other end of the honey stick "exploded".They landed on my pants. Bought some old chang kee nuggets.Chili dripped on my pants. Enough about that.
Recalling an unforgettable incidient. This incident taught me a few lessons. With a minimum price to pay.
This happens last year. I was shopping with my friend and we went into this shop(In Tampines mall) that sells games(PC,Xbox,etc.).After some window shopping,we were about to leave the shop. The shop keeper stopped us.Her first sentence was:"I saw you put something in your back pocket".It was put across to me in a rude and loud manner. I allowed her to check. She found nothing and even checked my friend. I was shocked and embarrassed, considering the crowd was looking. She inspected the shop and told us to leave. With no apology for the accusation. She was so insistent that i stole something yet she couldn't find anything and was unwilling to let us off. What is wrong with her? What gives her the right to accuse anyone they like and tell them to get lost when she can't find anything.Where's the apology i deserve? And i don't deserve that kind of treatment for criminals before she can even find me guilty. (That shop closed down not long after that incident) Perhaps due to the "criminal service" they give to their customers.
The second incident happened in school this year. The school lost a projector and i was carrying a big bag that day.The security guard stopped me.He said:"stay here and better not run away ar!" in a rude and arrogant manner. He went to open the gate and came back. And checked my bag.He found nothing and just told me to leave. Don't they think the accuse need an apology.Cant they be more humble and admit their wrong accusation? Is it really so easy to just accuse someone and tell the person to get lost if they can't find anything.Who da hell gave them that right?!
I should have learnt long time ago.If a repeated incident happens to me again,i'll make sure i get a apology. Many people tends to despise other.I ought to get what i deserve and not what i don't.I will do all it takes to get what deserved right.

    Integrated joy with sickness

School was never this fun.We get to play poker in school and don't really have to pay attention in lectures. The stress from promos is gone.Chinese and PW ended.Life's so carefree in school. The 3 days before the oral presentation was a torture.High fever hit me and i had such a bad sore throat that even drinking water would hurt. After seeing a doctor, i realised that i was a virus infection. Luckily, i was feeling better for OP. Now that everything's over, im looking forward to bowling trainings. Perhaps the passion for bowling is already within me.A game almost as old as man kind. From a simple game that evolved to a complicated and techincal game. A game that's simply addicitve.

    Memories.

I took out my folder filled with certificates and class photos. As i turned the pages, bits and pieces of memories flashed through my mind. Thorugh the photos i watched myself grow from the different stages of life. Indeed, people change over time, both character and looks. Looking at my primary school class photos, i saw how much i changed. Will i change as much down the road?
I saw familiar faces in the photos, a few of them i would meet once a while in my neighbourhood.Yet i couldn't recognize them in person untill i saw the photos today and had a little impression of them. Many people come and go in our lives. It's rare to have friends that will be by your side throughout your life journey. It's either we do not cherish them or we just forget them over time.

    Happy Bdae nicki and josie.

It was a relieve after the Chinese AO paper.Paper was a little tougher then i excepted. What's done is done.No second thoughts about it. Supposed to be going out as a class,in the end,we went different directions. I told the twins i "imported" their bdae "presents" and didn't arrive on time. So i had to make up the imported bdae present. We went shopping for their presents are orchard. We shopped for the whole afternoon and couldn't find anything that they need or want. They basically have EVERYTHING! We managed to grab a crazy frog DJ remix CD for them.It consists on the indian song that joshua was so carzy about after hearing it on my mp3(this time it is the remix). And since he loves crazy frog(while i was only eyeing for the frog leg (a chinese cuisine) ) . I hope they will like the CD and not go crazy over it and nodes their heads so often that their screws become lose.We(jingz,mad,pax,yang2) sat at the orchard mrt staircase and chatted a bit. It's actually nice to actually sit down and just chat about anything under the sun. We had fun which we never had it since the nearing of promos. Another memorable day for us.

    Sensitive or Observant?

When the train arrives at the station, you stand near the door, ready to alight, looking out,you see a crowd of eager passenger of waiting to board. When the doors open..................
    Let me outta that train!

In every MRT stations in Singapore, we will see yellow lines on the floor. Not the one parallel to the platform, but the one that is supposed to make way for alighting passengers. It seems to me that there are only 2 ways of how most people respond to it. First group, stand behind/beside the lines before the train arrives and after the doors of the train open, people still rush in like the lines don't exist even before allow passengers to alight. Second group consists of people that totally ignore the lines.Let us ask ourselves, why are lines there? Reason being, Singaporean do not give way, in other words it’s called ignorant or are not conscious of their actions. Maybe people are just too busy or usually have their minds occupied.
If we have given way to alighting passengers, we will have a smoother and faster transition and we no longer need to squeeze out of the train. The lines being there already showed that we need consistent reminders of the correct actions to take and yet we often ignore the reminders. Are we getting selfish?
We also often see how people push you or cut your queue just to board the bus earlier and find a seat. I do not blame them for it. I’m sure they are not aware of their surroundings. It’s in them. Nurtured over time.
The Chinese AO paper today mentioned about how we should not be affected by others and should live our way. Good in sense that we live because of and for ourselves. Bad as in we do not take other’s feelings into consideration. How can we live in the small world with so many people around us and not consider others.

I believe in taking a step back and review our actions or just to observe others. Simple things like this do not need much of our time and can improve our self-consciousness and awareness of the surrounding people.
