A enjoyable weekend
I'm finally blogging again after about 2 weeks. School was extremely busy for all of us.Tests are coming non-stop and work is stacking higher.Another block test is sneaking in quietly again.Soon...
Beloved CTYesterday we had steamboat with the bowling mates. Didn't join them for the eating part though. Mdm ho treated us to pizza, spaghetti and ice cream for celebration of the success of Value's day stall. The ice cream looks like milk shake when we ate it. It was chun kiat's birthday too.Happy Birthday chun kiat! Felt so guilty as i didn't get anything for him. The class bought him a cake and leonard dedicated the birthday song to him after our maths lecture in front of the whole LT. "romatic" huh? It was really surprising to get a treat from our ct.She's a very nice person in fact. She offered us with her own money just in case we might lost our cost price to the school.(The money is divided in ratio of 3:7 and 7 goes to the sch, therefore we might not get back the cost price). It was really touching in fact. Another incident is when Mr Sim noticed that Mdm Ho actually helps us to keep a look-out while we were playing cards in school. She let us play instead of stopping us and still help us. Nobody actually notices the thing she have done for us.Maybe we should be more sensitive and not take advantage of the help and support she has been giving us. I am really touched and thankful for the things she have done us. SteamboatBack to the steamboat, i sat with my bowling mates and i watched them eat for a least a couple of hours. It was a nice and warm(heat from the steamboat?) gathering too. I learnt another way of holding the chopsticks too.Success rate was quite low in fact. We intended to go for pool, however when we enter the place,we were chased out by a rude and arrogant owner because we wore school pants.(Maybe his business was too good)Despite the fact that we borrowed shirts. We left the place and had no where to go.Some went off and we(shuyan, yilong,me), went to the nearby mac and had a long, interesting and entertaining coversation. That lasted till about 12 plus then we took cabs back.It cost about 18. I reached home feeling dead tired.Today, we have this CIP briefing early in the morning(have to wake up at 7). It was held at this ulu club house within some private property estate. We were given a photocopied map, we could hardly locate the place and ended up walking a big round under the hot sun. Its either the map is not readable or we can't read maps.We had to pass through many private housings before we found the place, reaching there rather late and sweaty. We saw another YJ group at the Mrt station we met,but they(bigger group than us) took cabs and we decided to walk.Maybe we should have done it too. We waited for quite long there as there were some other groups from other schools. We were finally briefed in the small conference room and rushed off.Feeling hungry,we walked all the way to serangoon central for mac.It was another long distance walk under the sun. We sat down and chat for a couple of hours again before leaving for home in a cab. I took 3 hours nap and went out for my dinner and shopped for a while.A enjoyable 2 days for me at least.Wish everyday can be like this without being bugged by homework and tests. Here's a cute pic for all to enjoy.
Look how shy this doggie is!
