Passion v.s Obsession v.s Craze.
I had a wonderful nite on my bdae with some of the bowling club people..Thanks for the ice cream cake! I love it!! We had bbq and im sure we all know how bad a cook some people really are..hahaa..But still we were safe from food poisioning.It was the first time i actually felt full after eating at bbq.bbqs usaully dont fill stomaches.. We played badminton and some weird table-tennis and tennis look-alike game.A huge table tennis bat with holes and a huge sponge ball and to be played in a badminton court.The balls flew everywhere.We ended up sweaty.I was soo exhausted that i had to share a cab home..I wondered if we have "stinked" the cab.I think we did :P It cost me only $8 considering the fact that i travelled from yishun to simei!
Next day,22/12,thurs,Mugged on my hw.Didn't achieve much. Boring life. Home sweet home.
23/12. Our last bowling training of the year. My thumb lost a piece of skin from bowling since mon.I was hoping that it would "grow" back before training..It didnt! I insisted on bowling.It hurts alot at first.I tried practially everything.From tape to plaster to powder.Nothing worked.Tape wont stay on thumb. Plaster was pulled out when i release the ball.Powder?erm...I like the smell..My milk powder.Milk scented baby powder.It does help to reduce the friciton a little.Pain was bearable.Training was fun as usual.Ms lim shifted me around the boards.Nothing worked out..so i went back to my orginal position. We had games and I cursed my ball for a while for not giving strikes in the first game,so it did buck up and gave me 3 strikes in my first 3 frames in da second game.Wheee! I love my Rampage!Keep going girl! (it's a she!).
We went for dinner at pasta mania.We sat outside and we placed our Bowling trolley bags outside in a row outside Watsons. A guy passed by and thought they were for sale.He picked up the bag and looked at it.We told him it was not for sale..He left feeling embarrassed..haha..$10 for a very filling and nice dinner. We went to the arcade and had some fun there. Unwilling but feeling tired,we went home. Bowling is about focus,patience and hardwork in the right direction.It's the same requirements for acheveing goals in life.Passion.It's burning.It's Bowling!
